In conjunction with the Neural Interfaces Conference, the Center for Neural Communication Technology (CNCT) will host its annual Summit Meeting on Sunday, June 15, 2008 from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Cleveland OH.
The CNCT Summit Meeting on Chronic Microscale Neural Interfaces will focus on chronic implantable microelectrode arrays and related technologies for neural recording, microstimulation, neurochemical sensing, and drug delivery.
Building on the outcomes from the 2007 CNCT Summit, the focus of this meeting will be to establish active Working Groups to address performance guidelines and standards for emerging neural probe technologies, and begin to define protocols and metrics for evaluating device performance and building a database of scientific results.
There is no cost for attending this event, but registration by June 1, 2008 is required at http://www.cnct.engin.umich.edu/SeminarReg.aspx
